Reunion 2014!
There were 180+ decendents of Carl and Kate at the reunion, held on August 16th 2014. The event was held at the homes of Phil (Carl and Kate's great-grandson) and Theresa Phenow and their backyard neighbor, Nettie Phenow.

Karl Phenow and Katherine Funck were married at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic church in 1885. Currently, we don't know where the Phenow name comes from, or what the original spelling was. But it's safe to say that anyone, anywhere, with the Phenow name in their family history is a not-too-distant relative.
Karl and Kate had six children: Conrad (Carl), Peter, William, Michael, Mary (Mayme), and Annie.
