  First lived at Windsor (CT?), but after 1742 on the so called "Scovil's Hill" in Harwington. Old homestead is not standing, but pile of rocks marks the spot and nearby is the private burial ground of the Scovil family. "I was told that only those with the last name of Scovil could be buried there." (Aunt Jeanette Fair)
